M.E.C. is a technology-driven industrial initiative focused on the design and future manufacturing of small arms ammunition primers. The project aims to establish a modern manufacturing facility supported by automation, quality assurance systems, and responsible industrial practices.
The Company has obtained the required industrial licences and regulatory approvals from the relevant authorities of Government of India. Currently, the company is setting up state of the art manufacturing facility over 100 acres to develop ammunition primers adhering to NATO standard with MIL-Grade testing in state of Gujarat, which will be operational before December 2026.
M.E.C. intends to align its operations with the Government of India’s vision of indigenous defence production and industrial self-reliance aligned with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, we aim to establish India as a global leader in ammunition primer technology.
